Nope, still not dead. But not quite alive either, which is why the poor blog got forgotten about for a week and a bit. I'm back in good old Ireland once again, safely reunited with all my clothes - the airline lost my luggage in Copenhagen for a couple of days, eep - and lounging around in a sea of post-Christmas books, games, and DVDs. It's magnificent.
I'm not sure you'll see much of me until 2009 has begun, so have a good time, enjoy the rest of your holidays, and I'll be back in a week or so!

More Irish Vintage Online!
I got an e-mail from Sharon and Lisa of Perk Up! Vintage the other day, to let me know that they'd launched their new online, Irish-based, vintage clothing store. Since you all got enthused over Enchanted Vintage earlier on in the month, I thought I'd pass on the news.
Perk Up! seem to have a large range of stock, and even feature a range of revamped vintage clothes, some of which are so temptingly stylish...

To celebrate the launch of the site, Perk Up! are offering newly-registered customers a €25 voucher, valid until the end of February, which you can use on a spend of €75 or more. Sweet!

Six Feet Under, Coco Pops, and Hairstyles
I had a celebratory I-finished-all-my-essays-so-I'm-going-to-watch-a-whole-season-of-Six-Feet-Under-and-eat-a-thousand-bowls-of-cereal day today. It was most delightful. God, I love that show.

I also had some fun with Gimp and antique photo frames. I have no outfit photos for you all (too cold outside!) but this has become my favourite way to do my hair lately — mostly because it takes approximately five seconds of effort, and keeps my not-actually-a-fringe-any-more out of the way. I'm not much for hairstyles, so anything other than washing and combing feels like a hugely daring accomplishment.

Lame Mirror Poser Pictures
I have not yet bought this dress, but I think I'm going to fork out for it sometime next week. It has serious Ghost World credit. Also, red plaid is delicious.

On a Swedish Theme... Lqist in Dublin.
I'm really, really taken with these two dresses from Lqist, and posting them seemed appropriate since my brain is still full of Swedish from this morning's exam!
Linda Grönqvist-Dowling is a half-Swedish, half-Irish designer whose collection just launched in Dublin — find it at Sabotage on Exchequer Street. Can't make it there in person? Have a look at the online store. (But watch out for the quick audio clip if you're at work!)

Daily Outfit: Argh Studying
Um, apparently I am trying to be Meg today?Top and Dress — Edith & Ella
Tights — New Look
Shoes — second-hand
I haven't really been keeping up with the blogosphere (when did I go from mocking that word to actually using it?) lately, since this week involves a confusing mix of exams and Christmas party-type things. I'll be back properly next weekend, when every exam will be done, every paper handed in, and I'll have my sister to help me take outfit photos!
Being fully prepared for exams is a strange feeling. I'm usually a really last-minute kind of person, but this term I've actually read every English book and studied all my Swedish grammar... and now I don't know what to do with myself!

Online Vintage Clothing in Ireland!
I've come across Enchanted Vintage a couple of times while trawling the internets for online vintage shops in Ireland — there's a sad lack of them. Annmarie reminded me that the site existed earlier and I am salivating over these particular beauties (none of which, sadly enough, are in my size):
