I know I'm "on hiatus", but the instant I wrote that last post I wanted to start blogging again...

Anyway, I felt the need to come back and tell you about the Style Exchange event which is taking place in Limerick's Trinity Rooms (a place which usually makes me shudder) at the end of this month.
What is the Style Exchange? Simple. You take clothes that you've never worn (or over-worn) to the Trinity Rooms on designated drop-off days, and receive tokens to the same value as your donated items. Then, on the 27th of March, bring yourself and your tokens to the Trooms, where you can swap them for new and exciting things! Anything left over at the end of the night will be auctioned off in aid of women's charities in Limerick - sounds good to me.Perhaps a little too good, you might say? Well, there's a €15 charge on the night, which covers a cocktail reception, nibbly treats, a free cloakroom, and some more stuff that you can read about here. And, sure, you'd pay that to get in anywhere on a Friday night, really (unless you're a miserly killjoy like me, that is).
If you're an interested Limerick-ite, check out The Style Exchange website, which will give you all the ska on when and where to drop your clothes off over the next few weeks.
