Daily Outfit: Stripy and Red

I am so incredibly bored today. The kind of bored where everything seems too dull to even consider doing, so I just sit around going "bored bored bored bored bored" all day long. It's a bit tiresome. I'm almost bored enough to go and google "how to not be bored", but I expect the results would be... what's the word I'm looking for here?... oh yeah, boring.

See how spectacularly excited I look?:

Dress - vintage
Cardigan - H&M
Tights - New Look
Shoes - Penneys/Primark

On the bright side, however, it's warm enough to wear this dress today! I bought it millions upon millions of years ago (read: last summer), but it's really light and airy, and the weather here... well, basically, it's always rubbish. So buying this was probably a really stupid decision on my part. But eh, what can I say, it makes me happy.

You know what else makes me happy? I've actually just realised that I have two answers to this question: Stargate SG-1 and archaeology. News stories like this make me wish I was having (completely idealised) adventures in Egypt, but I think I'll just have to live vicariously through Daniel Jackson and co. instead.

Looking wonderful as always, Emily! I love your dress, it's so pretty. For the first time this year, I was able to wear a dress with the compulsory extra-thick pair of tights and coat.

I started my own blog (http://adressandabike.wordpress.com/) recently. It's only in baby stages at the moment but hopefully I'll have the time to keep posting.
