The Beauty Spot: Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Review

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula

I picked up a little travel-sized bottle of this stuff the last time I was going away, loved it a whole lot, and then managed to forget all about it until I was poking around Superdrug last week. And now I've re-opened a whole world of soft, smelly (in the positive sense) goodness. Mmmm.

My favourite thing about this is definitely the smell. Chocolate! And not in a fake, sickening way; I think it's just the cocoa butter that smells like that, since it claims to be fragrance free. My mother hates it because of the smell, though, so it mightn't be everyone's cup of tea.

While the lotion looks a bit odd - a weird, yellow-ish colour - the texture is luverly. It's thick and creamy without being sticky and greasy. It claims to help fade scars and stretch marks, but I don't really have any of those, so I can't really judge it in that sense. I can vouch for the fact that my skin is smooth and soft, though.

The verdict: Great stuff! Gets a big thumbs-up from me. The price tag is also right up my alley - about €4 or €5 for 250ml, yay!

I love Cocoa Butter! It's fantastic and as a girl with many biking scars, it does help to make them look less nasty but it won't make them completely fade.
